just a post to introduce you OpenWines, a non-profit organization, about Wines & Open-Data. See OpenWines.eu website for more.
OpenWines is neither a startup nor a commercial initiative: we are building an open-data collaborative project about wines, vineyards, varietals, winegrowers & winemakers. We model and collect wine-related open-data sets. Our working group (10+ people) involves IT engineers, geomaticians, standard terminology experts, semantic web supporters, wine industry players, and wine lovers. We also share informations & interests with some some public administrations, professional organizations and wine startup clusters.
We publish our open-data licensed resources & open-source based tools on http://openwines.eu, and more on dedicated Github, Slack, Twitter, Trello & Google Groups accounts, all open.
This year we’re glad to inform you that Mr. Anthony Faucogney, member of OpenWines.eu (non-profit org) will be attending the London Vinocamp this year. Anthony already attended previous editions, and is be available to answer questions about our 1-year old initiative.
